Villa Ganz is located in the so-called Zona Rosa Tapatia, one of the favorite areas of Guadalajara.
It is located in the heart of Colonia Lafayette, which together with the elegant Colonia Americana of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, forms a particular architecture of European influence. This area is ideal and safe for walking. It brings together art galleries, bookstores, restaurants, bars and pubs, museums, shopping malls, parks and internationally famous fashion designer boutiques. Today they call it The Gastronomic and Cultural Corridor of the Chapultepec area.
Cataloged as the First Boutique Hotel in Guadalajara, Villa Ganz emerges from within the walls of an old mansion from the 1930s. It has 10 rooms that have been fully restored with exquisite taste in their decoration. Full of corners and magical spaces spread over two floors that emulate those old residences of ancestry.
At the Villa Ganz hotel we decided to identify our suites with names instead of numbers, thus wishing to pay homage to the famous Jalisco writer Juan Rulfo, considered one of the greatest exponents of Mexican literature, whose work has been translated into practically all languages.
