Beautiful venu and wonderful check in staff. A book with local restaurants and bars would have been helpful. On our Uber to the airport we saw a restaurant a tour guide recommended just blocks away we we wanted to try but didn’t realize it was so close. Sad. We couldn’t figure out how to get served for breakfast before boarding a flight. We let staff know we were leaving and thought we could have breakfast at 8, sat at a table, saw others who were served, and waited. Finally we just had to leave for our flight.

Villa Ganz was extraordinary in so many ways. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. I felt as if I was a queen, being cared for in so many ways, including the delivery each night of hot water for my tea. The outdoor patio is absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful place to relax, sip a lemonade or margarita, enjoy the local birds, and read, or have a fun conversation. I seriously wanted to live there! And, it’s close to many good restaurants, including the Lebanese restaurant next door and a couple coffee shops within a 10 minute walk. A very safe neighborhood. I feel so lucky that I was able to stay at this hotel. I will never forget what a wonderful experience I had there and hope to return someday.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Ganz this week and would definitely return when next in Guadalajara. A very intimate and tranquil setting in a bustling neighborhood. The staff was very helpful with restaurants and suggested activities. Ask Carlos or Armando to make you an Orange Mescalita - fabulous !

Beautiful hotel in the heart of GDL. Great staff and very clean. Only improvement needed is the bed could be more comfortable and better pillows.

Positives: Staff was so helpful and welcoming. Loved decor with antique touches. Also appreciated smart TV with Netflix and water dispenser upstairs. Negatives: Shower head sprays in every direction and soaks the bathroom. There is also very little water pressure making it difficult to shower. The sealant on the tile floor is chipping off all over and the pieces get stuck to feet - it was pretty unpleasant.

Villa Ganz is a charming, elegant white stucco villa with ten rooms surrounding a peaceful courtyard garden oasis. Start the day with a relaxing, delicious breakfast on the covered patio complete with comfy and chic upholstered furniture, sunshine, melodic chirping birds and a friendly house cat named Buba. After a long day of sightseeing, relax here with a refreshing cocktail before a nap to rest for a night out at one of the many nearby restaurants. Save one night for the mariachi and mini Ballet Folklorico style show at Casa Bariachi which is six blocks away. The management and staff at Villa Ganz are super congenial and happy to help with information about what to see in Guadalajara. The Centro Historico District is a 15-minute Uber ride from the villa, where we enjoyed a walking tour and is the starting point of the Hop-On-Off bus that offers three routes, including Tlaquepaque. We wish we had booked a longer stay and will definitely return to Villa Ganz on our next trip.

What a beautiful, authentic hotel in the coolest neighborhood. Great vibes, lovely service, amazing location and the best food just steps away. The renovations are gorgeous. We will definitely return to villa Ganz.

We loved our stay at Villa Ganz. The room was beautiful and as lovely as the photos in the gallery. The staff were warm and helpful and were there whenever we needed advice or guidance. The location was very good - close to many attractions but on a quieter section of the street. I hope it won’t be too long before we get to visit again.
